Welcome to the website of the INTERREG CABARE project

The Cabaré project is a project coordinated by CIRAD. It is funded by the European Commission under the INTERREG IV Caribbean program and by the Prefecture of Guadeloupe under the Regional Cooperation Fund (RCF). This project aims to strengthen technical and scientific cooperation in the Caribbean through the creation and promotion of a Caribbean network for the sustainable prevention and control of emerging banana diseases.

Project Cabaré will last for a period of four years. It began in 2011 and involves five agricultural research institutes: CIRAD in Guadeloupe, the IDIAF in the Dominican Republic and three research institutes in Cuba: INISAV, INIVIT and IBP.

Here you will find all the information and latest news about the project.
